Kurseong is a popular hill station of Darjeeling, West Bengal. The hill station is 51 km away from Siliguri and 32 km away from Darjeeling. The word 'Kurseong' means -"the place of white orchid". The adventure, scenic beauty and pleasant weather attracted many tourists throughout the year. Apart from the charming weather the tourism infrastructure in Kurseong is fast developing. The people of this place are very eco-friendly and fun loving.
Eagle Craig : This is one of the lovely view point of top of the hill. This is also a garden ful of a variety of flowers. The views of mountains is very beautiful but for this purpose the day must be clear. It has a large water reservoir that supplies water to Kurseong.
Ambootia Tea Estate : A lovely tea garden on mountain slope full of green, black, white Darjeeling teas. Actually this is not a part of standard sightseeing but if you want visit the tea garden you have to pay extra money to the driver to visit the place.
St. Mary's Hill : This is a beautiful church located 3 km away from Kurseong. This is one of the three museums of Darjeeling with lush green vegetation and lovely views. There are also a prayer spot.
There are also other attractions also, like- Dow Hill Park, Dow Hill Forest Museum, Victoria Boy School, Giddapahar View Point, Seti Mata Temple, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum, Ambootia Shiv Temple, Makaibari Tea Estate etc.

Best Time To Visit Kurseong :
Best season to reach the place is between September to Mid June. During these months you can enjoy the snowfall, rainfall etc. Other sightseeing are visible during these time.
Attractions Of Kurseong :
Dow Hill : Kurseong has several number of hills, but Dow hill is one of best and most visited hill of Kurseong. The hill is covered with dense forest and there one can see leopards, goats, sheeps etc. The Dow hill is also very famous for historic schools, excellent views, forest museum etc.

How To Reach :
By Air : There is no any airport nearby because it is a hilly station. Nearest airport is Bagdogra located 60 km away from the city. This airport is well connected with major cities of India, Like kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Rajasthan, Delhi, Kanpur, Jammu etc. From the airport one can easily get a taxi or bus to reach Kurseong.
By Rail : Nearest railway station is New Jaipaiguri, 57 km away from the town. Many trains are daily available from the station. This station is also well linked with other parts of India like, Mumbai, New Delhi, Howrah(Kolkata), Kanpur etc.
By Road : This hill station has a wide road connectivity with other cities. State govt. bus services are available from here. But it is the best way to reach the hill station by train or air.
