How To Reach Golden Temple Of Amritsar

The Golden Temple of Amritsar is very popular for it's beauty, previously it was known as The Harmandir Sahib ( means "holy pool of nectar") or Hari Mandir located in Amritsar, Punjab. It was founded by the 4th guru, Guru Ram Das in 1574.  Actually it is a attractive and most popular pilgrimage destination for Sikhs. According to some legends the temple regarded as "the most tangibly spiritual place in the country". In 19th century, 100 kg gold was applied to built this temple and decorated by marbles. All these works took place under Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
