How To Reach Shimla

The present capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has been blessed with green hills with snow capped peaks. It is the famous tourist spot where dreames come true. The distance from Manali to Shimla is approximately 260 km. So you can also easily watch the beauty of Manali when you travelling to Shimla. By Bus:

There are many  bus services like Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus or private operators connecting Shimla to the major cities in North India.There are even regular bus services from the nearby places to Shimla, Kullu , Manali , Delhi , and Ambala . From the capital of India, one can even take luxury buses which will provide a comfortable journey.

By Train:

 The nearest station of Shimla, is Kalka which connects with different parts of the country by rail line. There are a good number of trains from the cities like Delhi and Calcutta. The famous toy train of Shimla goes between Kalka and Shimla, covering a distance of 96 kilometres in about 7 hour, by which you can enjor the beauty of the whole area. You can also take the Kalka Shatabdi train which goes from New Delhi Railway Station to Kalka Railway Station via Chandigarh. 

By Air:

The  Jubarhati airport, which is about 23 km away from Shimla, is well connected to various other cities by air.There are regular flights going from Jubbarhatti to Chandigarh and Delhi. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to reach your desired place.
