How To Reach Red Fort

The Red Fort is a palace which  was resident of Mughals emperor. Actually The Red Fort coming from two words, "Red" means "Lal" and "Fort" means "Qila". It was constructed in center of Delhi by  the fifth Mughal EmperorShah Jahan ( 1648). Its name Red Fort for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone. On Independence Day our Prime Minister hoist the National Flag at the main gate of the Fort and delivers some speech of Nationally Broadcast.

Present days a Sound and Light show is the main attraction of Tourists. Its hight is about 18 mt. For this purposes it is very famous today.

For Foreign tourists-250/- per person
25/- Extra for Camera

But there can be extra charges in weekends.

Red Fort is located in Delhi which is a busy city as well as our National Capital  well connected with other major cities of India.

 By Air:

Delhi airport has International airlines which connects with outside of India. Delhi also has a Domestic Airlines which is located at 5 km distance from International Airport. By this way peoples can come from many cities of India, Like- Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Kanpur, Amritswar, Jammu- Kashmir etc. After reach the airport you can hire a taxi to reach your destination place.

By Rail:

The Old and New Delhi Railway stations are well connected with all parts of our country. There is also facility of Metro Station in Delhi. So, if you want to come here by Rail route there is many choices for you. After reach the station you can take a taxi to reach the place.

By Bus:

Interstate and intra state bus transport services are available to reach the place. For more information you can contact with your nearest Bus services.
