Bodhgaya is a place where Gautam Buddha is said to have obtained Enlightenment under which known as the ' Bodhi Tree'. It is a religious and pilgrimage site, located in Gaya district of Bihar. Actually , Banyan tree is called 'Bodhi tree'. It is the most famous holiest place for Buddhist in whole World. King Ashoka is the first person who built a temple here.
