A Nice Journey To Rohtang pass

Rohtang pass is known as the 'Gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valleys in Himachal Pradesh'. The height of Rohtang pass is 13,054 ft. The word 'Rohtang' means 'ground of corpses'. It is on the Pir Panjal Mountain range of Himalayas. It is also known as 'gateway to Ladakh'. The lake offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, amazing  view of rivers, flowers etc. It's only open from May to November. The pass is known for it's scenic beauty and holds strategic importance for India.

Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temples : Vashist is a small village where a small pyramidal temple located. This temple is very famous in Rohtang Pass. The temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. He is a Vashist Muni of Hindu missionary. The hot spring water is connected with bathing areas for tourists to bathe in. 

Nehru Kund :  This is a natural spring located 6 km away from Manali. It's name after Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru (First PM of India) when he used to drink water from this spring. 

Hadimba Temple : It is a very popular temple of Rohtang pass and dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. The design of the temple is very unique because the roof of the temple is shaped like a four-tiered pagoda.  

Kothi : It is a nice village on the banks of Beas river. Many hotels are available in this place if you want to stay here. 

Marhi : This is a very famous place of Rohtang pass and fully covered by snow and surrounded by lush green meadows. If Rohtang pass is closed, people may visit upto this place.

Rann of kutch is a salt marsh located in the kutch district of Gujrat. The word "Rann'' means 'Desert'.  This place is known as 'Great Rann of Kutch', the most visited place of Gujrat. It is World's largest salt desert, total area 10,000 square km. Kalimpong is a subdivision and a small and popular hill station of Darjeeling, West Bengal. The word 'Kalim' means king's Minister and 'Pong means Stronghold.
